so i was thinking about doing a podcast... and since cathy is not here i thought i would do one with my hubby. then i thought, "well what would we podcast about?" so then i thought, "what if i took questions from the audience?" (hee hee thats you)
he said he was totally up for it, and he is quite a shy guy, so i thought that was so cool.
so if you would like to suggest a question or 2 for my hubby to answer for a podcast have at it!
so here is my thought for the day...(as random as it may be.)
i took this picture while walking through downtown Detroit with Kelley and Sue. i took it because i liked the creative use of a smiley face sticker (or in this case a not so smiley face sticker), but as i was looking and uploading my pictures to shutterfly i started to question why the hell there would be a sign reading this attached to a street light along the sidewalk?
what an amazing store... you must, if you are ever near Detroit stop at Scrapbook Zone! Kelley and Kevin Popp, the store owners, have it going on!! i dropped $127.00 in the first 30 minutes i was there! (but don't tell my husband...hee hee!)
and sue you rock! she drove us around for the day as we toured Detroit in her yellow hummer! so cool!
and as for the teaching pictures, well i think i almost peed myself laughing twice. here are some of the highlights. the facial expressions alone are hysterical.
picture 1: what the heck am i saying that i would have to hold my hands like that? "and after breastfeeding they look like this..." LOL!!!
picture 2: ok this is clearly drill 101 as i gently explain the effects of the turning of the drill head.
picture 3: HA!!!!
picture 4: is certainly suggestive of the things one could do with the penis, oh i mean drill...LOL!!!
picture 5: this is the picture i gave the web designer for me teaching, but my favorite part is the the woman in the front that i circled who clearly is mortified (in a fun good way by the drill 101) and has her hands over her face!!!
anyway, in my Detroit tigers sweatshirt (thanks Stacey), i taught and had a fabulous weekend!
i leave to morrow morning for THE SCRAPBOOK ZONE Farmington hills, Michigan! i have never been to Michigan. i love when i am invited to states i have never been. i will eventually be to all 50, so if you own a store in Hawaii...feel free to invite me! HA!
i will be teaching some of my new 2007 classes for the first time, so this should be fun (or a disaster-just kidding!)
and i will be traveling with my new Nikon d200, i got it over-nighted today and have no idea how to work it, but it looks fabulous in my new "donna downey" camera bag. **hint hint** i was just too naked and vulnerable without a camera!
i will need to ask some of my Michigan students to take a couple action shots of me teaching with my new camera tomorrow, any volunteers? i need it for my website that is in the process of being developed.
OK need to go pack and finish up a few things! if i figure out how to use my camera i will try and post pics.
good morning... it is Wednesday, i love Wednesdays. i have my coffee. i am showered, no make-up dressed in comfy clothes (my old navy cargo's!!!) i have about 10 things to cross off my list to do today and i have NO inspiration or motivation!
really. i sat on the Internet and played all day yesterday. procrastination.
people always ask me what i do when i have creative block, i sit and play on the Internet...lol! ok but today is the day!
say it with me...i will be creative, i will be creative...lol! ok back to work!
yep right there to the right of the photo can you see it? here let me give you a better look via my awesome web cam photography (LOL)
yes my friends, do not adjust your screens that is a section of green hair! now it is not the kiwi colored green that i had wanted, but i dig it! i can't wait for those that think the blonde streaks were a bad choice to see this... oh the message boards will be a chatter...LOL!!!
anyway, it is not permanent, (edited: it just clips in, it is not permanent in any way) it is the clip in hair piece i got from DIVAS. if your feeling funky, perhaps a bit edgy and spontaneous you should check it out. they have a bunch of different colors (i got mash green) and if worse comes to worse, Halloween is right around the corner! note: and by the way for all of you that asked what computer i bought, i have a BRAND NEW and flippin' fabulous MAC PRO duel core G5 but the best part is the 23" flat screen display!! huge difference from just the laptop!
ok i know i have been a bad blogger...so sorry. i am here, settling back in, mckenna's birthday today! got a brand new computer...setting that all up. can't find the printer driver cd...cussing a lot! tried to download the driver...printer not on my computers list...a lot of cussing! if you are both epson r1800 and mac proficient feel free to help a sister out!
*EDITED* JUST HAVE TO SAY EPSON ROCKS!!! i emailed epson customer service with my issue and they responded within 24 hours with a detailed explanation of what i needed to do to rectify my printer issues! no more cussing!!
i love my EPSON R1800!!!!
camera in the shop for at least 6 weeks! a lot of cussing! i feel naked without it!

I wish I could share with you just how much fun I have had here with my husband in Paris. We have toured all over (with a map and a metro pass in hand) and have had the good fortune to meet so many amazing INTERNATIONAL ladies. The attendees of the event were from the UK, Italia, Germany, Mexico, Switzerland, Norway, Scotland, Belgium, AMERICA (yes, America HI GWEN!!) and of course all over France.
I was greeted with so much generosity and kindness and my husband and I have been so thrilled with our time here.
Other than my camera’s demise, the trip has been tres magnifique!
I met BEV, hi BEV!!!
Spent time with kerrin quall, an amazingly talented teacher from Australia…
