my latest painting a day

• 10 x 10 canvas
• miskit - used for masking

Grumbacher Miskit Frisket Grumbacher Miskit Liquid Frisket 559 is a fluorescent orange colored frisket, for use on hard-sized watercolor papers, photos, and other media, to mask areas that are meant to be painted once the dried frisket is removed. It washes out of pens and brushes with soap and water. 1.2 oz (35 ml) glass jar.



• blue acrylic paint painted first, let dry and then miskit design. added white, yellow acrylic paint on top
• brown, white, red ink
• writing with pen nib
• "YES" made using a thick layer of white paint layered and dried on top of the inside pieces of 2" stencils

the post canvas i showed on the video after of the miskit rubbing and a few additions...

• 6 x 12 canvas
• pink acrylic paint first, let dry, then applied miskit with a brush to spell "create", let dry, then green, blue and white acrylic on top
• rubbed off miskit to reveal pink
• added added text and drops with brown ink and pen nib
• added white to highlight pink with ink and pen nib
