lots to share today.
first some basic information to catch up on...
- "fabric of my life" kits on etsy
i have been working on making 75 more. (them damn words take FOREVER to die-cut out individually.) i have 50 made so far and just put them up on etsy!! i am waiting on my shipping boxes to arrive so they will most likely me mailed out on Tuesday.
- pink and brown damask albums
began ordering the components of the album. hoping to get all of the pieces delivered, cut and kitted in about 2 weeks maybe sooner (fingers crossed?)the base of this album, many of you wanted to know, is the tabbed maya road chipboard album.
this will be a NO SEWING MACHINE fabric album...you're going to LOVE this! the kit will include the iron on ink jet photo fabric you need...i am working on ordering this in bulk from June tailor today.
- the blue black damask album
this project will be for workshop/store/event classes throughout 2008. not prepping any for etsy right now, still trying to fill the demand for class requests...but hold tight!
however i now officially have an account at Making Memories!!!
i played with paint yesterday!
actually ranger asked me to create a canvas using Tim Holtz frayed burlap colored products for CHA and then i just kept going!! not sure if i can share that canvas with you yet, but here are the other 2.
i layered and used modeling paste for the first time...pulled out some of my large alphabet stamps and stamped right into it! this was my first attempt and it was so much fun!
then i specifically placed and layered the modeling paste. when it dried i inked it...loving that effect!
i stole the repetition of the stamped word inspire, directly from kal. love this idea!
here's the modeling paste i used...love DICK BLICK
ok now off to stalk mr. fedex and jerry the UPS guy to finish up some more kits!
ALSO, my friend that wanted just the red letters for happy holidays and a swatch, i cannot find your email!!
if your reading this please email i have that ready for you!!
