been napping on and off all day... feel like my head is a lead weight, trying to make myself well before the 22 hr flight to japan tomorrow. bill and i haven't even packed! bringing the flip to japan, will take lots of pics.

i have gotten a lot of emails asking about my workout and really there are no secrets! i go out into my garage and punch and kick the bag for 45-60 minutes and i love it! makes me feel like i am in my own personal weight loss gang. i have started listening to pink when i box now, i just love her!
i just got home at 4 AM this morning, crazy night of travel because of storms, but a fabulous weekend of friends, fun and scrapbooking at get croppin! i met my roommate and new friend kristina contes for the first time...
whoo hoo! 18 pounds!! i can't frickin believe it! i have gotten so many questions about i figured i should just post some of the answers here.
Do you like the food? i actually really do like the food...there have only been like 2 things i haven't really cared for and you can totally customize the meals that you receive. this month i got my second shipment and it is all the things i loved from last months introductory variety.
can you drink alcohol? it is just like anything else, it is about decisions. sure you can drink 200 calories or eat 200 calories doesn't matter, the bottom line is do i want to take in 200 more calories.
can you be a vegetarian and do nutrisystem? i am pretty sure you can, just opt for the meal choices without any meat and i think there is a fair share of them. but i would ask to make positively sure first.
are you hungry all day? i can't believe it but i am not! whatever the glycemic index is must work. also the food is really high in protein and compared to the high doses of carbs i used to eat i am much more satisfied after each meal.
can you eat desert? yes! oh yes! and the desserts are the best part.
can you also eat real food? yes you are supposed to eat a blend of both the nutrisystem meals as well as salads, dairy (yogurts, cottage cheese), fruits and vegetables.
are you a picky eater? absolutely not, however i will tell you i ENJOY the food!
why did you choose nutrisystem over jenny Craig or weight watchers? it was totally a lifestyle decision. i like that the foods come prepackaged and i can throw them in my suitcase when i travel and they are totally convenient. actually makes life easier.
do you feel weird not eating what your family does at meal time? it's not really an issue. Actually quite the contrary, the kids fight over getting to choose what mommy gets to eat each night.
exercise is important...even though i hate to admit it, the exercise has helped shed the pounds. i am still kickboxing/boxing in my garage about 3-4x a week. I feel like a tough girl, like i am in a gang or something as i punch away to my rock jam mix my hubby made me.
i have lost a full dress size and have 35 more pounds to go... i believe i can do it!
this weekend bill and i are off to Anaheim for CHA, i am really excited about this trip. my mom comes in tomorrow and the kids are over the moon! i am going to teach my new black and blue hybrid album at It's About Time Scrapbooks in
Murrieta, CA and i think there is only 4 seats left. if you are nearby i hope to see you there! the girls there are fabulous!! i can't wait!
