one design
a million (and then some) possibilities.
this image is from my scrapbooking bible as i like to call it.
it is just a no frills composition notebook i found at Staples with graph paper pages.
inside i draw and design the photo placement for potential multi-photo layouts.
the sketchbook became the basis for one of my recent books Designing Layouts.
today on kerri bradford's blog she is featuring a scraplift of this design!
i love scraplifting...i just don't see all the griping about it!
i say this week lets scraplift!
you can use this design as your scraplift inspiration or one of your choice.
here are my 4 interpretations of design 12 from Designing Layouts.
my best words of advice for speedy layouts,
- cut your photos to size
- adhere them in place
- embellish around and on top of the photos
- then flip, twist and/or turn the design and make another layout that looks completely different!
i am leaving for philly in about an hour so i may or may not be posting. i will have access to emails (via my mini computer) and i would love to post some of your scraplifts in my monday blog post. so if you find the time between now and monday and you feel like scraplifing, then simply email me your scans/photos of your scraplifted page(s) and you will see them here!
and FYI, if you're in the philly area come visit me and bill at creative inkling on thursday and friday...
Happy Scraplifting!!!!
