this weeks inspiration wednesday was direct inspiration from so many interactions and exchanges i have had with so many of you over the last few months.
CHANGE.
many of you have commented on the direction of my work, you have noticed a change.
change is good,
i believe it is a sign of growth and maturity.
i feel i have found my inner voice. my passion.
i listen to it and trust it.
turning over all of the things i simply cannot control and seeing where the universe leads me.
it is quite liberating.
even better, i do not take this journey alone.
i walk with my family, my friends and with the thousands of you that follow within earshot of my blog.
i feel empowered by the words i share and in return gain empowerment from each of you as you share your personal journey's with me.
it is a place of inner peace.
now granted, not everyday is blissfully perfect, but seems as though i can more often find the silver lining rather than stew in frustration.
like wings,
the journey carries me through to the next stop along the way.
the pages in my art journal tell the story.
the visual journey through each stage of my life.
it is a legacy,
it is a scrapbook
and the fact that so many of you have reached out to me, touched by something that was written or created proves to me something special is happening here...
here's the how to in my inspiration journal this week.
- painted the page green with acrylic paint
- wash of red watercolor
- hand wrote "on the wings of change i embrace the me yet to come."
- stamped wings (inkadinkado)
- punched loop corner and edge
- wrote journaling, "i rejoice in what i have, and i know that fresh new experiences are always ahead. i greet the new with open arms. i trust life to be wonderful."
- white washed with water color crayon
- white washed edges with white acrylic paint
- tried to crackle the vinyl bird i had in my stash, but i got impatient and heat gunned it. i like it better! and stapled it to the page
what do we need to see...share your inspirations!
