it was a busy fun day, getting to inspiration wednesday a bit later than usual, but so much fun to play. used my new cricut and some fun gifted fabric! loveing the results of the pan pastels on the fabric!
Having a FANtASTic mail day (posted a pic of the amazing surprise I got from provocraft this morning on facebook). I got the new somerset apprentice issue and my inspiration journal was featured in it!
Might have to go put it in the studio...happy day!!!!

It feels like christmas all over again! I have been working hard on adding some really cool products to the shop. Take a look at whats just arrived.
My new Demdaco line is finally here and I'm absolutely thrilled. This release has aprons, pillows, tea towels, oven mitts, and potholders! Each one looks like it was handmade. The full apron is my favorite.
OK, I just love Anahata Katkin and had to order the Luxe Tote Bags that she designed. They are just simply amazing and I want them all!!

today's motivation...just play with the left over scraps on your table from previous projects! i will definitely be using the canvas/fabric patchwork background idea again! i love how the paint and ink accentuate the edges!

now that i am traveling again, i find that time on the plane helps me clear my head and really allows me the quiet time to collect ideas. in flight i take out my journal and simply purge my brain. it is a great practice and i once i started journaling i realized, i missed it.
every year i hand make the name tags for inspired. this year i wanted to do something really special. so i sketched out a couple ideas and this morning i began to execute them.
i love the fabric nametags, but i always struggle with how to get the names on them...then it hit me, duh i have an embroidery function on my sewing machine!
so this morning i set out to play around with the idea of embroidered names and RUFFLES!
