i saw this penguin pattern on Purl Bee's website the other day and thought, " i have got to make that!"
overall it wasnt so bad, mainly the pinning and sewing of the belly fabric is the hardest part and outside of the stuffing it went together in about an hour (but i am slow, i had to read and re-read every line of the directions, lol!)
when cole was little he would watch "march of the penguins" over and over again (i mean really you might as well watch paint dry...oh wait i have done that...anyway)
we used to make him honk all the time, lol...
me: "cole what does a penguin say?"
cole: "eeengh, eeengh eeengh"
when he saw the finished penguin the other night he said, "is that for me!!!"
now that said, Payton wants one and so does mckenna.
payton wanted a penguin of another color and chose these fabrics, if i hadnt run out of stuffing i might have had a friend to share.
mckenna has yet to choose hers.
