Just a quick note to say THANK YOU. Yes, it's a shout and I mean it.
I finally started an art journal and have used many, many, many of your IW techniques, which I've watched over the past year. i.e. using my fingers as applicators; framing the page by applying color to the edges; date stamping; starting with one idea and expanding; using a color wheel to understand more about how and why colors work together...
The process of art journaling has been very freeing. Thank you for being such an awesome teacher and taking time in your very busy schedule to teach the world.
Hugs & Kisses

Hi Donna!
I'm new to your site....love your energy and video instruction. I like to do art journals and altered books. My question is about moleskin journals...you use a lot of water on your pages and I didn't think those journals had the kind of paper that could take that....even after being "gessoed"....can you comment? Thanks!
Posted by: Ehoney | July 27, 2012 at 07:40 AM
ehoney, i do not use a lot of water on my moleskine pages. but i will tell you the pages arent as delicate as you might think, they hold lots of wet layers of paint.

Love it! Thank you for sharing your inspiration, techniques and yourself with us!

Do you always work in moleskin journals? I was also wondering as I look at the Creative Wednesday videos...and you always have that middle piece? Forgive me if you've talked about this before, I just wondered how the middle piece between the pages...got there? Thanks again and I appreciate your responding! Have a super weekend.

Welcome back Donna. I love your inspiration Wednesday videos and always look forward to them. Occasionally, like in this one, you do something that has to impact the pages on the other side. Do you ever hesitate to do that? I wouldn't want to mess up something I was already happy with.

Lovely & summery page, the colours are gorgeous.

it is stunning as usual! Quite inspiring! Now if I could only get my area washed up so I could act on that motivation...maybe this mid-day.
