working on a new series i am calling "whimsical trees"
i have been playing around in photoshop with the layout of the finished pieces and after about an hour of rearranging them in photoshop decided i definitely needed to paint another piece. (note to self: go buy an 11 x 14 canvas)
one of my goals for 2013 is to create a series of art that incorporated my word for 2013, "achieve". the trees represent growth, strength, natural progression and sustainability.
the bold colors and contrasts just make my heart happy!
it really feels awesome having a place to share what gets me excited and what i love on the blog. thanks for visiting and allowing me this connection. i will keep you posted if i ever finish the last piece, lol!
