trying a technique or a product for the first time on camera is always a scary idea, but this week it was totally worth the risk! i am in love with the "faux encaustic" look i tried today. And if trying one media wasnt enough, i used glazing liquid for the first time as well...SPECTACULAR!

i really just wanted to use something different as the base of my pages this week..add some cool texture and the fiber paste is just so beautiful under the paint. although i did not have a clear idea of what i was making i really LOVE the way it turned out!
