aaaaaahhhhh!
hi my friends.
the crazy schedules are all behind me and i am home.
so Wilmington was awesome!
my family had a blast at the beach and pool.
during the break between classes on Saturday we took a field trip to a group of stores called Ivy Cottage and i bought this awesome monstrosity,
if you are the first to guess what it was in its former life, i have a giveaway for ya! (no Wilmington student cheaters either). me and Lindsey both own one now! Hi Lindsey!
edited*** LISA V you guessed it, it is an antique sugar mold!!
i had no idea what it was either before Jackie told me...thanks Jackie. (by the way during class Jackie actually tape recorded my drill 101 instruction...so freakin' funny!
and i also bought this little lady...she had happy character too!
here are some of the pictures from this weekends scrapbook by the beach weekend at Scrapbook Nook. thanks rose and Tammy, i had a blast!
Those of you who participated in the last BIGpicturescarpbooking chat, remember the story about the hamster...well let me introduce you to Goldy the Hamster II.
he is a little blurry dang thing didn't want to sit still for pictures this morning. he is actually Goldy IV, seeing as we have had 2 fish before the hamsters named Goldy...we are real original with the pet names in this house!!
i also received these in the mail from stamped in ink when we got home from the beach...yeah, no doubt they make me smile!
also if you have emailed me in the past 45 days and you are thinking i am a bi**h because i have not responded back...please do not take it personally i was completely overwhelmed. if you would not mind, those of you that are waiting on my response please email me again. i am trying to put all my duckies in a row.
ok back to my Make the most of it column!!
happy day!!
My guess: Candleholder.
Probably too obvious. =)

AGH! I was gonna say sugar mold. I have like six of them in my garage. I can't wait to see what you do with it as well.
Just wanted to let you know that after searching all over Provo for the Fiskar Drill I had no luck and came home very bummed. I did however get an email about a place that had them in stock and so I ordered two of them. One to use and one for a spare since they are soooo hard to find. Sorry if I was to much of a pain about it during CKU; but it was the only thing that I was looking for during the entire trip. Well that is besides a picture with you, which I didn't get; so hopefully someday I will get the chance to see you again and get one.
So glad to hear that you and your family had a nice weekend.

that sugar mold is way huge - i first saw one on ali's blog - then i picked one up in an antique store - cuz you know anything you guys have i have to have too. i was in lancaster (pa) earlier this month and saw them there too - i think they have them as big as yours. i love mine - i put brushes, pens, scissors, all kinds of tools in the holes on my scrap table. it has also inspired me to look for some more antiques to hold my scrapping goodies. going to find more next week in lancaster.

Guess what I was playing with outside today...OUR hamster, named "fireball"--it's our first one and it has survived 2 weeks at our house. Only one bite so far.
I really really wish you would email me and say "guess what April? I am teaching at Scrapbooks n More next month :)"
Us locals miss ya!
Take care.
