look at what my neighbor heather brought me yesterday...
yup, she just knocked on the door and said, "here ya go!" for no reason at all.
she MADE it for me and I JUST LOVE IT!!!!!
she monogrammed it and it has a zipper pocket on the inside...now that is talent!
she said she would make you a custom bag too...just call her 704-904-9971 and she will do any custom fabrics you want for $30!
just tell her you want the donna downey bag.
edited** i have gotten several emails today about shipping internationally and the answer is yes she totally will! she will just add the cost of shipping to the price.
and by the way, for my NZ and Aussie friends, she is coming with me in August so if you want one, she can totally put yours in her suitcase...free shipping!!
if you have my decorative journals book, you may have read about her. she has her own business, diZerega designs, making handmade children's clothing. she makes custom outfits for my kids all the time. and every summer vacation and Christmas we think up something adorable for them....i so loved the hats!
i am a single mom this weekend, hubby is leaving to go home to NJ tonight to go to 2 Pearl Jam (he is a bit of a Pearl Jam fanatic...) concerts!! so if you are in the Newark/Giants Stadium area wave hello...hee hee!
cute purse!!!!lucky you to have such a great neighbor!

Oh you are such an enabler!!
It would be very dangerous for me to have such a neighbor... I have a slight bag obsession. What a nice surprise :)
Have a great day!!

VERY cute bag, Donna. I'm thinking I might just have to give her a call. I'm still debating on which bracelet I want from your last post!

I am sooooo jealous of your hubby!!! I love Pearl Jam and have never had the opportunity to see them in concert.
BTW: The bag is too cute, but if I order one, my DH would probably strangle me as I have way too many bags/totes (I say, you can never have too many bags) but just trying to keep the peace...LOL

Hi, Donna!
My computer won't let me email you so I am writing here. Hope you see it!
Just found your blog(don't have ANY idea what took me so long to find it!) and was totally amazed when I saw your daughter's name! That's my daughter's name, too! We spell it the same way and we use a small "k" (we wanted to get away from the last name thing a little, but since it is all caps on the SS card, we figured she could make up her mind when she's older about the size of the "k"). My daughter will be 7 in Sept and the house we lived before, there was a little girl two houses down that was named Mckenna (not sure how they spelled it). It's not that popular of a name, so when I see or hear of other "mckennas", I get excited!
Okay, I will stop with the stalker behavior now! Long story short...I have a Mckenna, too!
