here is the new space...
this is what you see when you walk in the front door of my house. it is supposed to be the formal living room, thus the columns...one day the columns will be gone and a beautiful french door will be in their place...ONE CAN DREAM right?
and there is the new ladder desk over there in the corner...looks like a shelf but is really my desk.
so really the shelf wasn't free cause then i bought a desk, but shhh lets not dwell on that.
i weened down to just a 12 x 12 paper rack and my patterned paper is in paper shelves under my table...much more functional!!
and my stamps are in that tall cabinet in the corner
and do you remember that sugar mold i bought in Wilmington, NC?
it is holding my colored pencils on top of my new shelf...
and on top of the old shelf are my mini albums
and these are brand new to the room,
they are called "snap boxes" and they rock!!! i am selling them on QVC on june 26th...why do they rock, you ask? well besides the fact that i love the label bookplate pulls, they fit PERFECTLY into my expedit shelves!!!! instant storage solution. i have to get another couple sets before they sell out! You get 6 cubes and they snap together in whatever combination you like...THESE MAKE ME HAPPY!
ok back to work on week 33 of BPS.
omg, love your room.... but the desk is pretty expensive... but i think theres an alternative for me:)) because i need a desk for my pc. love these shelves... i have some snapboxes too, they so adorable! have a nice day d!

Ok, your room makes me sick! Can you say JEALOUS? I can! :) Is that ladder desk from Ikea? We have a new one about 45 min from here in Frisco TX, but I've yet to venture in. I have no idea what to expect & am so intimidated! But I really LOVE that ladder desk. And the snap boxes!

This is absolutly wonderful! While you wait for your french doors, I wait for a house big enough for a scrap space besides the kitchen table. But no complaints, just pure joy for your beautiful room! I love the rolodex on top of the shelving unit...can you show that close up! I think that is a super cool idea! Thank you! Happy Scrapping!

Wow. I think the coolest thing about working from home has to be getting to make your office space your own. The second coolest thing is that scrapbooking is your job, of course. :)
This is really cool. Thanks for sharing!

What a fantastico room! I do have a burning question though . . . what do you do with all of your completed projects. I see the minis but what do you do w/everything else? My projects/minis/cards, etc. are truly taking over my home! Oh, and I bought two sets of those snap boxes on QVC when Lisa presented them the first time and they do indeed ROCK :)

Your studio is gorgeous!! I really wonder if it is always this clean, hehe! I suppose if mine was out in the open for people to see, I'd have to keep it cleaner!

Ever coming to Australia I have just the room for you to rennovate for me. The look is great. I can only wish mine will look like this some day. First I have to get rid of the child that lives in the room. I need your help. Leone

Okay, so I know "Thou shalt not covet." is one of the ten commandments, but GEEZ, that IS an inspiring space! I just started reorganizing my scrap cabinet today and it's a lot more inspiring than before. I even talked DH into adding corkboard to the armoire doors.
Luv the space!

By the way, did you ever make that tag/wreath/wall hanging thingie you wanted ideas for? I've been wondering ever since what you did with all those tags?!? (I read your blog only sporadically, so maybe I missed it?).

Have you seen this scrap space? (June 22 blog entry) http://www.lauravegas.typepad.com/
It's layout is a lot like yours, and she completed it about the same time, too.
IKEA must wonder why there's such a run on their Expedit shelves!
Love both of your scrap rooms (and both of your work!).
