feeling like i needed a bit of free creative time,
i reached into my paint basket and pulled out these 3 colors and just went for it!
so this morning before i worked on some more scrapbooking i decided to return to my painting a day...
i missed it!
i like playing with paint!
i am no Picasso, but who cares...
i am perfect just the way i create!
ok back to scrapbooking playtime!
have a good one!
Oh my, I've never been the first to post!
Was wondering the other day if you were still doing your "painting a day". Love the colors you picked for this one, so fall! They are some of the colors I have been scrapping with lately - don't have a real reason except they seem to make me happy and that's all that matters - right?
Have a great day of creating!

Dona I love that painting! I am so in need of some quick creative time right now. I might just try doing one myself.
I have a question though, are you using a canvas as your "paper" or just watercolor paper or someother kind of special paper?

Very cute- I am not very good with paint, and I never know when to "walk away and call it good" but you seemed to have mastered that skill quite well :)

Love the toilet paper roll, used to paint the circles!! Just another instance of using trash! I have intentions of painting, but have not taken the dive into it! Someday.

Whatcha gonna do w/ all those paintings?
I love to paint too but we have like no wallspace left in our house plus my paintings don't match the decor (yes I know paintings aren't supposed to match the couch but my husband thinks they should..)
Ok, or so I remember I think it was Holling on Northern Exposure did paintings and Chris (the totally hot who turned into Aidan on Sex and the City) convinced him to burn them / that it was the process not the product which was important.
OR you could have a gallery show or sell them on etsy?

Wonderful colors. Glad to see you are back to it. I have been doing a 12x12 painting on paper a week and then use parts of it for my art journal backgrounds. Sometimes if I like it as a whole piece I will use the entire 12x12 as the background since one of my larger art journals is 12x12.
You should really consider selling some of your paintings a day on etsy. I know I would buy them. Linda

I just had to leave an unrelated comment. I spent my morning putting together a school portfolio for my little Hannah (following the directions so generously shared by you!)...and I just had to write and tell you: I LOVE IT! It's so cool! And so perfect! And I've never done a project like that...it felt great! Plus - it looks awesome. Thanks so much! You added a little frosting to our kindergarten school year!
