i had a great time at colorful creations this weekend and racked up $187 worth of product in my basket before i left (and that was with a discount). thank you so much jayne and jenn!!
the store had all kinds of stamping and mixed media stuff like color washes, pigment powders, alcohol inks, beeswax and of course STAMPS!!! i also bought 2 of the 12 x 12 American crafts albums, i really like how it looks with the different sized pages in one album and i think i am going to try it and i figure since i will have 100+ pages of 12 x 12 & 8.5 x 11 after i finish the book that it just might be a good thing to start doing.
since i do not get a chance to share a lot of my work...i thought i'd share some pictures of the workshop class projects for 2008 i have been working on.
i have only 12 layouts left to make for the book and then i will get back to work on some more of the project and play ideas i have been accumulating and sketching in my notebook!
for right now, back to work!
Your projects look great. You will have to let us know where and when you will be teaching them. Jess

Oh Donna! Love the "raw" feel of inspired Book! I love things that don't look so finished and like you touched every single page with your own hand to alter it!
Well done!

Wow... simply incredible and so inspiring! Makes me want to get in and clean up that scrapbook room that I abandoned 4 months ago! Took a summer hiatus to spend time with my family and between school and house projects, I've simply not been able to return to my passion. But I'm collecting photos, ideas and lots and lots of inspiration... thanks to you and the many other wonderful artists out and about. Thank you, Donna!
