ok no that is not my new weight-loss program...
however i did run 3.1 miles today at 5.5 (took me 33+ minutes)!
as i was talking to cathy today,
looking around this studio i realized i got to get rid of some of this clutter!
i can't think surrounded by clutter!
so i am going to purge!
post your comments to this blog post
and i will randomly generate a winner (maybe 2 or 3...) and ship my purge piles out to you!!
ok,
on my mark,
get set,
PURGE!
Whoo hoo !!!congrats on the great run! And I would love to take some supplies off your hands!!

Posted by: nichole | August 14, 2008 at 03:10 PM
I need to purge as well, but not my scrapbook supplies quite yet, more like my closet. I'm sure that I would love some other people's purged items, especially yours!! Thanks!
Posted by: Amber | August 14, 2008 at 03:10 PM
As someone who recently purged when I moved my crafting room from the dungeon of the basement to a gloriously bright upstairs bedroom, I envy your purge. I typically purge to avoid doing other things (laundry, grading papers, prepping a new semester of classes). There's just something grand about a cleared off workspace and everything neat in its place. Enjoy your task!
Posted by: Carrie F. | August 14, 2008 at 03:11 PM
YAY for you, Donna! I literally LOVE to purge. I've actually been doing that with my scrapbooking supplies lately, to get ready for an upcoming scrapbooking yard sale. Sure, I'll end up spending the money I make on more scrapbooking supplies, but shhhh... don't tell my hubby.
Enjoy the new space that you'll have for goodies that you've been coveting for awhile!
Posted by: Heather | August 14, 2008 at 03:11 PM
I will gladly take some of your purged items from you....
Posted by: sunny | August 14, 2008 at 03:11 PM
i have just today got my own scrapbooking studio to fill up. Dropped my son of at the airport in amsterdam this morning. He has gone to the States to be in High School for a year. I did shed a tear when I saw him walk off towards the airplane, but I smiled when i entered his bedroom. It's mine to use for a year!
Posted by: corien ooms | August 14, 2008 at 03:11 PM
Oh Donna I would love ANYTHING that has touched your creative hands. lol.
I am actually in the middle of a purge and giving all my unused goodies to a friend of mine who is just getting into scrapping and she is loving it.
Posted by: L | August 14, 2008 at 03:11 PM
i can only imagine the stuff you have...i purge all the time. it's good to purge.
Posted by: tami | August 14, 2008 at 03:12 PM

OMG~ great job on your run! I am training for a 5K right now too. It's kind of fun because I am SO not a runner. I'm at about 35 minutes right now, but I'm still doing the run for 5 minutes walk for 1 over and over again! Maybe by October I'll be able to run the entire thing:) Good luck!
Posted by: Kristi | August 14, 2008 at 03:13 PM
Purging is fun! BTW you look great!
Posted by: Brianna Taylor | August 14, 2008 at 03:14 PM
one person's junk is another's treasure! right?? Send some of that my way please. I'd love to see what you consider clutter.
I'm looking forward to taking your class in October--can't wait to play with watercolor crayons. I've tried the pencils but not the crayons. Congrats on the running! I ran a 1/2 marathon in May--not very fast--but all I wanted to do was finish alive and on my feet. Since then I've been in an exercise slump--trying to work my way out slowly!

I have a feeling your purge piles are far more exciting than all the items that I purged from my craft room and my son's room. :)
Posted by: Melissa Grogan | August 14, 2008 at 03:16 PM
Wow, what a great solution--quite a win/win situation!
Seriously, it does feel so good to de-clutter, way to go!!!
