been playing!
a little bit here and a little bit there
with some of the canvases i have in different stages of completion on my table.
i get so much satisfaction from this process...
the whole idea of starting with a literal blank canvas and working through to a finished product.
i finished this one the other day.
i am really happy with it and it's message, it reads,
"embrace the passion that drives the artist within to create, believe in your dreams, follow your heart and create your own reality."
this totally goes with my October message in my newsletter that went out today. It's all about finding that inner voice and allowing it to create freely.
{if you don't get my Creative Playground newsletter and want to find out more, no worries, just follow the sign up link and i will resend the newsletter to all those interested}
if you're interested in this piece i have just listed the original in my shop, as well as 8x8 prints.
Also here's the updated link to the Trash to Treasure CIRCLES project entries from September's newsletter. i was totally inspired by all of the submissions and i have already gotten a couple submissions for Octobers RECYCLED FABRIC challenge...keep up the amazing work and i will be checking my inbox all month for your submissions!!
Oh my! Those are amazing! I love the one with the numbers! So cool!

donna it came out great and the quote is perfect. I always believe that if your job is not your passion then quit, life is way too short, live for passion. I have for as long as I can remember and I will never stop!

Beautiful Donna! Can you please tell me what canvas you print on using your ink jet printer. Got some ideas, but I don't how.

You are too much full of yourself. I do not know why these followers of you think you to be some kind of god for them. It is crazy insane.

Donna, these look so beautiful! I am so jealous though that you got to play with the new paint line from Claudine Hellmuth! I can't wait to find them whenever they finally come out. Tell me, how do that compare to the Michael's craft stuff and the Goldens. I wanna play with them so badly!

Wow - Donna - these are stunning. You are such an amazing talent. In my humble opinion, this is some of your best work. I've admired your artistic journey over the years through simple scrapbooks, your books and following your blog and I am just blown away at your versatility and massive talent. Your canvases are right out of the pages of somerset and cloth paper scissord and could be hung on the same wall as Kelly Rae and Paulette. You are an inspiration and a true talent!

This is soo cool! I have to ask, do you have any tutorials on how the heck you do this stuff? What you use to put it on the canvas, etc.? And the prints...how do you do this...mostly interested in that! Just love what you do, and want to attempt my own :)
