I had the "Chariots of Fire" music running through my head through this whole video!!! So proud of you already :) No need for nerves... you'll do great and are running for a cause. That makes it less about your time and more about what you're doing it for so NO PRESSURE!!!
Go DONNA!!!!

so, if you are as hopped up on "caffiene" tomorrow, i bet you could finish in twenty minutes! lol love the colors for inspired. and the bags are cute. they wouldn't be too hard to make-assuming you could find the right fabric... if you buy the supplies, i will make them. :0)

Wow, how exciting! - i'm sure you'll do well on your race.
Regarding your search for "the bag" couldn't you shoot a request to Heidi in China to find them for you i'm sure they have them there or will make them for you for pennies. Just a thought.

I'm sure you will finish the race and do an amazing job of it!
Can't you find someone to make a bag for you? I got this great book and it motivates the sewing challenged, you should read it, it's by this woman, Donna Downey, it's good!

Good luck tomorrow Donna...I'm sure you'll finish!!

As a breast cancer survivor, I say thank you for participating in this race...for all the women who "make it" with chemo and radiation and surgeries, I know that doing a 5K run will be the challenge you will master!

oh, I wish you the best! You will do great! You are ready - mentally and physically. I'm so nervous too - I'm doing my first 5K next weekend, 10/11. I'm really, really, reeeeeally wanting to back out. I still can't run 3 miles without stopping for a 3 min. break at about 2 miles. I want to run the whole thing. I can't wait to hear about yours. I know it will motivate me.

That mug is huge!!!! Good luck in the 5K, you can do it! But you already knew that. :rambling: Unlike many of the other commenters, I am NOT running in a 5k, halfk, or foot race of any sort tomorrow. But I wish you much luck and stamina! Looking forward to the after post.

Sometimes...I have NO idea what you are talking about..though it is hilarious to follow along, completely confused. You are amazing! I love your work--though definitely don't have a knack for that type of creativity. I'm really into papercrafts, and make a stack of cards. I'll be cheering you on (in my head from the other side of the world!). Good luck--though you will definitely not be needing any luck.
Have a great one!

You will do well because you have such enthusiasm and positive energy! Thank you for taking on your personal training with such panache! Please, please post a picture Saturday... it doesn't matter whether you finish (or what number you place). You are a hero for following through with your goal of training, of taking part in this race and showing people that there are many reasons to run for life: for fitness, weight issues, camraderie, your children and what it tells them about you, being healthy and of course, for "the cure"... My best friend died of breast cancer this past May... So Good on you Donna... you are a hero!
Blessings on your run, SUsan

That book is on it's way to me too! I saw it in Michaels last week and placed an Amazon order earlier this week (because I had a bunch of other non-art related stuff that I needed to get - and one other art one called Big Art, Small Canvas - more fine art oli painting - bt all good!!. Isn't Scraptastic AMAZING?! It's everything I love about mixed media paired with everything I love about scrapbooking! I've been wanting to combine the two and just haven't done it to the extent that I want to.... so I am eagerly awaiting this book's arrival to my doorstep. I WILL be stalking the delivery man this week.
You are right now about to start your race so you won't get to see this until you get back... but GOOD LUCK!!! You are going to have a great time!! You are going to want to do it every year, I'm telling you now! Race for the Cure is completely energizing and inspiring!! I know you're going to do great. Just have fun and enjoy all the wonderful people that you're going to meet along the way. And take a mental snapshot of what it looks like to cross that finish line. This is just the beginning!!

Hi Donna! So I just discovered your blog thanks to Kelly Rea and I totally enjoyed your video blog. What a wonderful way to connect to your readers. It's awesome to see the face and hear the voice behind the words.
I am always struck with Inspiration but very rarely act upon it. I am this close ::holds thumb in index finger oh so close together:: to getting my own blog started. I'm excited about what is to come! Thanks for sharing your talents.
