not a whole lot of frostbite going on
it was 70 degrees!
{after the race}
that's my new best 5k time.
my goal is under 30 min.
but check out my man!
he placed 3rd in his age group!
he ran it in 24:37
NICE!
we (mckenna & i) would also like to announce the EK success punches giveaway winner
drum roll...
she said she chose cassie (aka mrs T) because she liked that she wrote,
"Whoever it is will really appreciate the punches."
Hi there McKenna,
You did a great job showing the punches off. What's your favorite craft/scrapbook product to use?
If I were to win the punches I'd make a flower bouquet and use the other punches to decorate the flower centers.
You're certainly going to have a tough time picking a winner. Whoever it is will really appreciate the punches.
I hope your winter break is an absolute blast!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas,
Cassi

Hey, how fun!
I ran a 5k this morning too! The Frozen Feet 5k.......and it was about 65 here, too!
So, no frozen feet for us.....and I am thankful!

Can I just say....you look amazing! I think maybe I'm INSPIRED to actually work out for a change and aim for a 5k in the spring. And just so you know, I told my husband to enjoy his big fishing trip to Canada this summer because next year (2010) he gets to stay home with our sweet girl while I'm at Inspired. So I hope you have at least one more year in ya!

donna
what a wonderful family.......
i am so thrilled for you and the happiness that is written all over your face when you "talk" about your children and husband. cherish it and keep it close to your heart always............
have a fabulous holiday filled with all the things that make all of you happy.
i am SERIOUSLY thinking of having one of my 2009 goals be to run my VERY FIRST RACE ever. (not bad for 58!!!!!) just have to make the commitment!!!!!
thanks for listening.........
peggy forma
p.s. i decided to consider the run after we received just awful news yesterday about our very dear friend who lost her son-in-law at a VERY young age of 33!!!!
we have just been devastated and at a loss for words. they also just found out they were pregnant with their first baby.......
life is NOT always fair and this is one of those times where there are NO answers!!!!!!
so give EXTRA hugs to those you hold dear and never forget to tell those you love that you love them...............

Hi there!
I regularly read your blog (along with like 50 others..i'm a little obsessed with all things scrapbooking ). When I saw the pictures of you and your husband from the 5K I thought they looked familiar.... my husband ran in a YMCA 5K a couple years back... I looked on your website and see that you live in Cabarrus County... I used to live in Kannapolis (thats where my husband did the 5K)... just thought that was kinda funny ... small world
