todays blog post feels like it is all over the map. truth be told i feel like my mind is constantly functioning on these extreme pivots in direction. so instead of being poignant and focused i am just going to purge, my thoughts so far today. (brace yourself. lol)
not sure why the trip to see Santa always results in $55 in photos and trinkets for the grandparents when i took a perfectly fine set of photos with my little point and shoot. but ya have to have the traditional photo to put in the frame every year, and i must admit we all look forward to looking through the years of photos with Santa when we slip the new one in front
this is my new promise ring.
it came in the mail the other day, the photo sucks but the ring rocks!
it a small reminder to "live a life inspired" everyday, a promise i intend to keep.
the campaign for creativity has really enlightened me.
made my world brighter...clearer.
the power of words,
encouragement
and empowerment is the best gift i have ever given and received.
it like "law of attraction" powerful.
2009 is going to be filled with insurmountable greatness, i can feel it
so on that note,
let me share some other REALLY EXCITING news...
INSPIRED. 2009 is officially SOLD OUT!
like my own creative island,
where there is nothing but good friends, inspiration, art, freedom and empowerment!
have i told you how flippin' excited i am!
if you didn't get a chance to register,
and are interested in being added to the wait list email kandi
finally, since i am randomly purging...
i want to publicly say that cathy zielske is the biggest enabler ever! she sucked me into yet another set of vampire novels and i swear i am not a "vampire kinda person". i am on book three of the Sookie Stackhouse Boxed Set (Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood). i am weak! LOL! thanks cath.
now you see why i like to video blog. too many random thoughts! HA
gonna have a giveaway tomorrow so come back tomorrow and play!
Great Santa photos. The kids look adorable! And congratulations on selling out your Inspired Event. I wish I was closer so I could go too. Maybe someday... I'll put it out there. Take care!

Donna, check out Charlaine's mystery series, too - she's a fabulous writer. My favorite, the Aurora Teagarden series (not-so-dull librarian in Georgia) is being re-issued (the first one is Real Murders) and she has another mystery series that has Shakespeare in the name (can't remember the name of the first one). Those has been completed, I think, but she's also currently writing a paranormal series with Grave in each title - the protagonist finds dead people and can tell what (but not who) killed them. All of them are listed on her website. I highly recommend her!

triple love the ring! Yea you!
i was really saddened this year when i took my kids to see Santa when there was a BIG sign that said 'no personal cameras please!' so you had to 'pay' for their pictures...1 5x7 is $20!!!!! eeeeek.

poor, poor Donna...You have been sucked in to the Sookie Series. I feel your pain as I have finished all 7 of the books and will be forced to buy book #8 (which is hardback) because I MUST know what happens to Sookie. The books are SO FREAKIN" ADDICTING!! I will be forced to buy the TRUE BLOOD series on DVD as well. Paula is SUCH an enabler!!! peace and blessings...

The books are amazing. All of Harris's books are great. The Stackhouse series being the best. The show on HBO was good too. Its based after the books. They just finished the series. My fav out of the 8 is Club Dead or All together Dead. Both are AWESOME. Have fun reading all of them. I did!

So happy for you with the event selling out. It's because you are AWESOME, you know!
I also am curious where the ring came from. Come on....you didn't really think you were gonna show that and now have 1,000 women asking you where you bought it, did you? :)

Love the ring! Your kids are adorable! Congrats on selling out Inspired, I cannot wait to meet everyone! and hahaha I can't believe you are reading those books, too! I picked up the first one and finished it the first night and then found the whole series at Costco for $32 planning on telling my husband he got it for me for Christmas and then yesterday I ripped it open and have finished the 2nd and I'm already onto the 3rd!!! It's different from Twilight but am truly enjoying it!

Okay... dig the ring... and where can I find it.
Love Zookie Stackhouse.... and now I'm a vampire addict of HBO's True Blood. Not sure but lately I've become a fan of those blood sucking creatures.
Oh.............and where can we find that ring???????

Where oh where did you get that ring?? Love it! And would LOVE to have one of my own to remind MYSELF to be inspired. :) Need all the help I can get these days!!

I miss going to see Santa and having my kids whisper their Christmas wishes into his ear. They're teens now and wouldn't be caught DEAD even looking in the direction of the store/mall Santa. :( Oh well...I can enjoy other people's pictures of their little people visiting Santa. :)
Love the ring Donna...what a beautiful way to hold yourself to your truth. I wear a slender silver ring on my R-hand middle finger that has Christian fish symbols all around it. It's not the same thing as yours but it does hold me to my truth. :)
Merry Christmas to you & yours dear Donna. You inspire us so. I wish for you every good and blessed thing at Christmas and in the coming new year!

Just ordered the first book in the series. Can't wait to start reading it. Hope you had a great Christmas! Best wishes for the new year to you and your family! :)

Ok. So I visited your blog for the first time 5 days ago and I have read 2 Sookie books since then. I too am not a vampire book lover, but I loved Twilight and now (thanks to your recommendation) I am hooked on Sookie. Thanks for the creative inspiration. I have your site bookmarked and will be a regular now! Happy New Year!

yes....please fill us in on where you got that great ring!!! I can think of several different words I would like to get on one. Thanks so much...you are very inspiring

I love the Sookie Books. I've already read them all. Great and I can't wait for the next one. The J.R. Ward Black Dagger books are good if you get into the vampire kind of stuff. They just have more romance and sex in them han the Sookie books.
I too want to know where you got the ring. It's gorgeous. Good for you.
So glad you sold out. So excited for you.
