been working on this piece all day.
i started from a sketch in my inspiration journal.
it is tone on tone creams
and i have been coveting a special piece of AMAZING lace i was given by dawn treadway that i believe THIS is the piece it was meant for...i cant wait to add it!
do you have these moments when the stars align creatively???
it feels fabulous!
and i am about 1/2 way done with it!
i just had to share.
i am hoping i will be done with it over the weekend so i can share the whole FINISHED piece.
until then here are a couple more peeks of happiness!

Gorgeous Donna. I love the vintage cream colors. And that lace is sweet as a flower.

Hi Donna, this cream on cream is gorgeous-is there a pic of the finished work of art??? i was looking back and found in 2006 where you made that first pink floral beach bag-your first sewing-wow how cretive and amazing your sewing journey has been-so good you didn't 'learn' to sew before you found your artistic expression!!! Making my own amazing apron at the moment-too gorgeous for the kitchen-might wear it at school for the next bake sale. xoxox Andrea
