i just spent 3 glorious days at Ranger covered in inks, paints, pearls and washes...
it was THE MOST inspiring and insurmountably educational experience i have ever had.
now do not get me wrong,
it was not for the faint of heart because we worked it.
in 3 days we got to use all of rangers products and believe me they have a TON!
it was non stop and total immersion.
it was awesome!
never in a million years would i be able to acquire all that product information on my own.
i have been using ranger forever and it wasn't until this weekend that i was shocked to find out that i only knew like 10% of my stash's potential,
have i mentioned how flippin' awesome it was?
suze, claudine and tim really put on a great event.
each one brought a different style and piece of knowledge to the table.
i cant wait to figure out how to incorporate melt art into my work.
it is really cool stuff.
i had a blast with my rommie angela!
she is such a talented jewelry artist and blew my mind with her UTEE beads...wow!
my mind is reeling with new mixes and matches and class ideas. i was frantically purging all the concepts from my mind into a journal in the airport on the way home and multiplying all the paper possibilities by fabric...oh my!
the possibilities are endless.
while away this weekend, i set my alarm and woke up way too early to make sure i fit my runs in as scheduled. i panic that if i miss one i will get comfy and miss 2 then 3 so i am really trying to commit.
Donna,
Please oh puh-leeeeze tell me you were working on getting Tim to come to Inspired next year!! We got Stella to start beggin a few weeks ago when she took one of his classes - peer pressure can be a wonderful thing! Glad you had such a good time. I'm off to make some of my own "pearl mist" with my Ranger stuff now!
