well other than the 2 guys working on my electrical outlets.
i will be getting counter tops and base cabinets installed so o needed to have accessibility to my electrical outlets and i figured while they were in there they might as well add a couple more. i had them turn them sideways, why do we have them stacked vertically in our walls anyway?
off to lowes to get the paint and blinds. the painters will be here tomorrow and wednesday to paint, as well as add photo ledge trim and moldings around the room and frame out my window.
to me, the window as it is just looks blah! trim is one of those details that really makes a big difference. we did this to our bedroom windows and it just makes the windows look finished. i will not be putting curtains in here so i am looking forward to the change.
stay tuned for more studio changes tomorrow.
also tomorrow i will introduce you to one of our new sponsors Paper Flea Market and her great giveaway, have a great monday!
So glad to hear someone else is not putting up curtains. I cannot believe the flack I received about this from friends. I just don't care for them. Can't wait to see your end product.

as daunting a task as it may be, emptying a room, to rearrange and re-do is soooo good for the creative soul! I'm antsy for a change myself!

"i had them turn them sideways, why do we have them stacked vertically in our walls anyway?"
Outlets are installed inside small metal boxes inside the wall (the framing). Outlets are generally attached vertically into the preexisting vertical framing. Mounting them horizonally requires more work and supplies.
P.S. Both my father and my boyfriend are electricans and I have helped wire more houses than I care to remember...

OOhh yes mam. No curtains for me either. I think there are other window treatments that can do the same thing for you, with a much better effect. By the way-- vertical outlets make me nuts. Waste of space-- argh!
