just one of those ordinary great days!
i ran today (4th run this week).
a great run and i added this song to my playlist last night. i am a huge fan of Pink and it wasnt until my run this morning that it hit me that this is the perfect theme song for INSPIRED.
it is going to be a great week this week ladies and i am so excited inspired it here!
and i love pink so much i will be wearing this outfit at inspired, NOT!spent the afternoon with my family, lunch at the bagel bin.
and afternoon sunning myself on the deck (so relaxing)
and the best part is these...
(disregard the fugly hair and no make-up, i just got out of my after sunning shower!)
in all my 32-glasses-wearing years i have never owned a pair of prescription sunglasses. OMG, there is nothing better. why had i never gotten these before. expense well worth it.
and it is not even mothers day yet.
have a great weekend ladies, you deserve it!
Hi Donna! I too am a huge fan of Pink's song and immediately downloaded the Grammy performance to my Shuffle the day after she sang it on TV. Love it!! And kudos to you for getting prescribed sunglasses...I can't live w/o mine and I'm waiting on a new pair....can't wait to sport the Calvin Klein lenses!

Holy crap. I need to hire a personal trainer... I wonder if I could EVER have a body like Pink's. WOW. I'm going to go for a 200 mile jog now.
SEE YOU THURSDAY!!! :) (Assuming I actually manage to pack... I haven't even printed out the supply list yet! We third-timers are lackadaisical, I tell ya!)

I missed Pink's performance ... so very glad you showed it! It truly was beautiful. I have to admit at first the outfit put me off, :); but what an amazing performance! I do love her music ... it often comes out in my art journal actually.
I am sooooo ready for Inspired. Am I really going to be there? Like a dream come true! Nervous, but so very excited!

My sweet beautiful dynamic cousin Brett (aka sister) died when she was nineteen, I couldn't watch this performance without wondering how she would be now, 10 yrs later. She looked alot like Pink with attitude to boot. Love her soooo very much. Thank you for posting this, it was amazing, and made me smile thinking about beautiful Brett.

Hey Donna had to tell you, I'm a Pink fan, especially since reading in a trade magazine that the techs love her. She can carry a tune. They don't have to alter her voice in any way. And they cited this performance. Not many singers can hit their notes, spinning upside and dripping wet. Interesting...

You are one cool chick Miss Donna. I love Pink and I loved that performance...pure talent, strength and beauty.

i'm a huge pink fan and right after her performance, glitter in the air became my number one song and for days and days, i had to hear it at least once....it's on my ipod of course and now, addiction slightly lessened, i listen to it and sing it at the top of my lungs with her, twice a week or so....those words are so ingrained in my head, that i can do 2 or 3 other things while listening to it and still get the words right when i'm belting them out and embarrassing my family :)

That is a gorgeous song :o) I just started shopping for prescription sunglasses but I was still waffling because all the samples in the stores aren't very dark. Yours look wicked dark so I'll have to look for that sort :o)

She stole my acrobatic performance! I do that every day and look just like a stick. NOT!!! LOL

Happy Mother's Day! I think Pink rocks also :) Have fun at Inspired. Wish I lived closer and could have been part of it.

I love, love, love Pink! too. I love, love, love prescription sunglasses too! They are worth every stinkin' penny.
I did a version of drippage last night on the art I made for my Mom! My sister loves, loves you and shared your obsession with drippage. LOVE IT!

This is my first pair of Rx sunglasses this year and I splurged and got Chanel frames and polarized lenses. I love them! Why did I wait so long??

I think that's a great song for inspired.. not only for the song but for the aeril silks (which I can do)! it took 3 months master it, but it was well worth it.

donna
the performance should win an award!!! next - how could you wear prescription glasses and NOT own prescription sunglasses!?!?!?!?!? i wear those almost as much as my regular glasses. now you MUST go check out mackenzie childs website. they now make glasses and they are NOT expensive. the sides are the black and white check and then they come in black, lime or purple. so stinking cute.
have a great inspired, you wonderfully inspiring person
hugs and more

Hey Donna- I love that song; it brings me almost to tears (and sometimes over that brink) each time I listen to it. She's an amazing performer.
Re: Rx sunglasses...I've had a pair & loved them. I loved them so much that one time when my kids were little I took them to Disney on Ice, forgot I was wearing the Rx sunglasses, left my regular glasses in the car and had to sit in the mostly dark arena trying to watch the skating characters. I'm sure I looked like a complete dork! :D lolol After seeing your stylin' shades I think I'd like to check into getting another pair.
Have a beautiful day!

I LOVE my prescription Wayfarers! So glad you've discovered the wonders of prescription sunglasses. Clips on are a)ugly and b) usually brushing up against one's eyelashes in a most uncomfortable way. Wouldn't go anywhere without those prescrip babies!
Look forward to (maybe) seeing you at some of the mini-workships this Friday.

If you think the grammy performance of glitter in the air was great - you should have seen the live version at her concert last year here in Houston, TX. It was SPECTACULAR!! Seriously, her show was hands down the best I've ever seen. I just get goose bumps every time I hear the song....
Enjoyed seeing it again here ;-) thanks!
