i just got in some new fabric in the shop and i wanted to make something with them, i wanted to play!
i love the colors all together and the peacock print fabric is simply awesome!
so this morning i woke up and began cutting and assembling what i would like to be an art quilt. something bright bold and colorful to look at. something inspiring!
i cut out some 4 x 3" rectangles and pinned them in place and began sewing them down in a patchwork design.
this is where i am now. all the rectangles sewn in place and ready to begin building. not sure where it will lead me, but i am excited to play.
I love the colors in this!!! Can't wait too see it finished. I'm making aprons today ;)

Super cute! Love the fabric. Did you sew the fabric pieces by hand or machine? And, did you leave them raw edged?
Just wondering, cause this looks like lots of fun! Can't wait to see what else you will do with this work of art!
