I got tons of inspiration from you today! I also need a nap, because you make me tired just hearing about all you have going on. You better nap on the way to PA. I've got a feeling Bill will be hoping you do, so ten more things don't get added to his "honey do" list. Sitting still for 8 hours will be a treat for both of you. Squealed over the spray paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited about the expansion! Can't wait to see it. Safe travels. mac

Just looking at your art quilt is very inspirational. I love the colors. Colors everywhere. No purple, though...haven't gone to the Purple Place in awhile and I kind of miss it. Maybe I'll have to make a trip there all by myself.

You just crack me up. Everytime I see you, I know that we must have been twins seperated at birth!!! We are so alike. I love love love listening to you. I know about the head stuff and anxiety!!!! See Im telling you, we really are "split aparts". Even though there is no "inspiration Wednesday", I love listening to you. And that quilt....I so love it.
Have a great trip!! I even know people by the name of Shook, how weird is that?

I just have to say that every time I take your classes I feel exactly the way you are talking about. My head just won't stop or turn off even long enough to sleep. After last weekends classes I didn't sleep. I had so little sleep that I felt like scrap on Monday and Tuesday. OK I literally fell asleep at work on Monday(thank God I work for my dad) and Tuesday I had to call out(slept till noon that day...what the) Hmmmmm...I wonder if I had a touch of something....I think I'll just call it the fever! But really I wasn't feeling too good either, but the brain is still whirling!
Congratulations on the new addition to your shop....looking forward to some of the things you mentioned at Scrapbook Junkie in your Store!
Thanks for all the lit fires of inspiration!

Hey Donna Your studio looks like it's shaping up. One day I'll make a trip down there. LOVING your quilt. OMG. Really nice. You did that quickly too. I'm taking your class on BPS and learning so many things. Shopped over the weekend and picked up a bunch of your iron ons which I'm anxious to try. Best $$ I ever spent taking this class.

Donna, is that paint in your new classroom the same color you have in your home studio? I so wanted to paint one of my rooms this color but couldn't find the perfect color to save my life. This is such a beautiful color! I ended up painting the room a nice, soft gray but I would like to have this color for the future when I want to change it. My hubby will so love me when I say I want to paint again! NOT. ;0) Thanks!

OK, So I haven't been able to watch the vlog yet because I am at work (shhhhhhh), I will though! But I HAVE to ask you a questions about the art quilt. Do you just sew around the squares leaving rough edges? And do you put batting behind the squares? You have TOTALLY inspired me lately with material(I have made around 400 billion totes, and have a stock pile of flowers if the world should come to an end and flowers will save us....call me)and I would really like to give this a try. Thanks for any and all help, info and for absolutley ROCKING OUT FREAKIN' LOUD!!

Beautiful quilt. I love the fresh palette you're using. Would be interested in more "how to" info. especially about how you sew the fabrics - are the edges left "raw". I also would be interested to know how you create the fabric words. I'm making a fabric collage piece for my son and dil of my grandchildren's baby clothes (got the idea from a book called "Handmade Home"). I'd love to add their names in fabric like you've done with the word "laugh". Inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

Just wondering if the letters on the apron are a stencil, or did you cut something out of paper on a die cutter? If a stencil, where did you get? If cut out, what font did you use? Thanks so much!

OK...not happy about going without my inspiration weds, but do understand. questions about your quilt (which is gorgeous!) It looks like you sewed the square pieces right on top of a piece of muslin. Did you turn under the edges of each square and then sew it down, or did you do something else? Just wondering specifics. I love to make wall hangings so I'm always looking for inspiration.
