i spent all day sunday in my home studio painting...just grabbed canvases and let it flow out of me.
i used every painting medium i own...oil pastels, pan pastels, acrylics, inks, watercolors, pencils, charcoals, etc.
and it is still going! i painted mr. big poppy here this morning!!! OMG, I LOVE mr. big poppy!
i will be working on a new line of art for demdaco and i think some of these pieces will be in it!
my studio is an awesome working mess and i am going right back to it!
(did i mention i havent showered in almost 2 days? dirty and creative and i feel great!)
In the midst of creative mojo is the best place to be! Feel the mojo, Donna! Drink. it. in.

I'm NOT a painter.. no talent.. but I've always wondered, when you do a painting like this, do you color the whole canvas red then go over it with the blue for the poppy? do you trace the poppy first then paint the red around it? You artistic types are fascinating!!
