i am going to be starting a new monthly ATC (Artist Trading Card) club at the studio beginning January 11, 2011.
each month we will create 4 ATC's.
you can choose to trade them, display them (i just ordered the cutest atc mats to frame them, love!), or keep them all to yourself!
i will be adding mine to my 7Gypsies atc spinner.
i will also be making extra kits as well as instructions available online for all my not so local creative friends that want to get in on the monthly fun!
the cost of the kit will be $10 and the kits will be limited, meaning we will plan on making a certain number and when they are gone...they are gone.
***EDITED*** i will also be making just the instructions available for download without the kits. these will be $1.99. so if you've got tons of product and just need the instructions to join in. you can! note in the comments if this is something you would prefer as well.
post a comment today if you think this is something you may be interested in, giving me a rough estimate if i should plan on making 10 kits the first month or 110. also right now i only have one spinner in stock, but if you know you are going to want a spinner also put something like that in the comments too.
my goal, by years end 2011, will be to have a beautiful spinner full of tiny art!
I would definitely join in! I can't be in NC but I can definitely work along here! That being said I would love the downloads too. I've got enough product to open several shops (of many different crafts! LOL!) and would definitely make lots of ATCs. I know Mom would love to join in too. This is just such an awesome idea!!!

PS- Kits would be awesome too! We'd buy them!(LOL!)
Posted by: Katherine McKamey | December 13, 2010 at 09:42 PM
Oh how cool!!! I've always wanted to make these and I have a spinner just waiting to be filled. So count me in for your non-local kits!!!
Posted by: Angela | December 13, 2010 at 10:52 PM
I have 2 spinners and a HUGE stash...count me in for the instructions! Thanks.
Posted by: Erin K | December 13, 2010 at 11:12 PM
YES!!! I DEFINETLY WANT TO BE IN THIS. PLEASE!
I already have the spinner!
Posted by: Susan | December 13, 2010 at 11:20 PM
I'm in.. But I wanna use my stuff up, so I would just need the directions. I would like to get my hands on a spinner though.. I have wanted one for a while (the atc and the photo spinner) but haven't picked up either!
Posted by: Olivia | December 13, 2010 at 11:43 PM
I would LOVE to buy the kits BUT .. I do have a lot of product and it seems like your kits sell out before I get a chance to grab one, so I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to buy the online instructions for them. :) Cant wait to get started with this!
Posted by: Edie | December 14, 2010 at 12:45 AM
I'd love to be a part of this! Would kits be available for non-locals? I'm all the way in Hawaii...a continent and ocean way.
Posted by: Roda | December 14, 2010 at 02:44 AM
I love this idea!! Since I'm overseas, I probably would do just the downloadable instructions, but I might buy a kit or two from time to time. Could it possibly be a subscription to the kits? Love the houses and fence btw :D
Posted by: Cara | December 14, 2010 at 03:13 AM
When Fun with Fabrics is over I will be going through Withdrawl so this might be a great way to still get my Donna "fix". Would need to buy the kits as well.
Posted by: justjenh | December 14, 2010 at 03:37 AM
Hey Donna - I would be interested in ordering the kits and a spinner. Thanks!!!
Posted by: crazy4dizny@yokotamail.com | December 14, 2010 at 04:23 AM
I would be interested in the monthly downloadable instructions as I live in the UK so the kits wouldn't be feasible money wise for me.
Posted by: Alison-lee | December 14, 2010 at 04:50 AM
Hi Donna,
I'm certainly not a local, but definately interested in both the kit and instructions.
Would you ship to Australia or is that just too far?
If it is, I will definately join online instructions.
Thank you and merry christmas

I LOVE ATCs and I love your idea! It's wonderful that you'll have online instructions for download, once the shipping cost to Brazil is too expensive. I also have a lot of supplies here, so I'll take your online instructions.
Posted by: Renata Pacheco | December 14, 2010 at 05:43 AM
Oh, I would love the instructions :-) I would love the kits as well, but with shipping it will just be to expencive :-( I´m sure I have enough stuff to make a trillion ATCs, so I guess I will manage :-)
Posted by: Siri | December 14, 2010 at 06:30 AM
I would love to do this! I would probably be more of the instructions type of person. Thanks for thinking of all the different types of people!
Posted by: rajns | December 14, 2010 at 06:58 AM
omg i love those ATC cards, and the spinner idea is so awesome that look so pretty on it.
tfs happy holidays!

This atc club sounds fun. I wish I lived close to your studio. I would like to be able to purchase the downloadable instructions. Thanks!
Posted by: Julia Irene | December 14, 2010 at 08:35 AM
Love fhe idea. Wish I lived close enough to come to the studio. I would probably buy the directions only so I can use up my stash.
Thanks donna
Posted by: Peggy | December 14, 2010 at 09:08 AM
Can't wait to start! I would definitely be interested in the instructions, but the kits sound like fun too!!
Posted by: Sara G. | December 14, 2010 at 09:26 AM
Sounds perfect, count me in!
Posted by: Sherry | December 14, 2010 at 10:20 AM
I've got the spinner and tons of products - I'd be interested in the directions only.
Posted by: Phyllis F | December 14, 2010 at 10:23 AM
I think that if you didn't have enough kits I would be interested in the directions.
Posted by: Pam | December 14, 2010 at 10:52 AM
I think that having a kit each month would be a fun idea. Maybe we can join for the entire year. I would love to be able to play with you even thou I live in Michigan.
Posted by: Carol C | December 14, 2010 at 10:58 AM
I would love to do this. I have way to many supplies but what fun to get the kit in the mail every month. And of course I will need a spinner. Sounds like so much fun.
Posted by: Jan | December 14, 2010 at 10:59 AM
I am interested!
Posted by: star | December 14, 2010 at 11:06 AM
I am not clear on what all will be in the kit.
Is it just the embellishments, or is there the materials to do different techniques.
Posted by: Char-D | December 14, 2010 at 11:06 AM
You had me at ATC! I had never done any before taking your Big Picture class and i loved your designs and colors. I want to fill that spinner. So, sign me up for the kits. I love my stash but love the kits too especially to take to crops. I would also do a layout of the month if you offreed it.
Posted by: ida | December 14, 2010 at 11:07 AM
This sounds like a fun little monthly craft! I would totally be interested in the kit and also the spinner!
Posted by: Monica G | December 14, 2010 at 11:34 AM

I would love to jion an ATC monlty kit event.... I have been thinking of doing these for a while. would buy kit and spinner too.
Posted by: Leida | December 14, 2010 at 01:24 PM
Oh what a neat idea. I have one of those spinners and haven't done a thing with it. I would also prefer to do the downloadable instructions, since like most people I have a TON of product.
Great idea. Can't wait to start.

Super cute idea!!! I love it! I would so join in, but the online version since I am not quite close enough...in NC but still a good 4 or so hours away! :) I would like the spinner too!
Posted by: Wendy High | December 14, 2010 at 02:23 PM
Love, love, LOVE this idea! As I am a not so local creative friend, I would be interested in buying the kits and instructions from your store....maybe you could have a pre-paid option, and we could receive each month automatically...sort of like a kit club. Just an idea. I already have a spinner, and what a great way to fill it up!
Posted by: Donna | December 14, 2010 at 03:03 PM
I love the idea of the $10 kit and maybe a video to go along with it? Some months I might just be interested in the instructions to download. I love your cute ATCs pictured above. I have gotten away from doing them but might reconsider now.
Posted by: Florida Nancy | December 14, 2010 at 05:50 PM
Considering I have a large stash of art supplies, the downloadable directions would be best for me.
Posted by: amy in Texas | December 14, 2010 at 06:33 PM
Pretty sure I'm in for the year. Full Kit!
Posted by: Lisa | December 14, 2010 at 07:32 PM
I have tons of supplies and the spinner but would love to download the instructions.

What a great idea! I would love to be able to purchase a spinner and join the kit club...do you ship to Canada?
Posted by: Baba Barbara | December 14, 2010 at 09:13 PM

I would love a monthly kit and/or the instructions. I have a ton of stuff but it's always fun to get new goodies in the mail. Of course I could make it a challenge to use what I have too. Love the preview samples!
Posted by: Ruth C | December 14, 2010 at 11:58 PM
I just learned what ATC card are at Teresa Collins event in September. I would love a spinner and to be a part of the club. Love the card idea. Something different
Posted by: Sandy lane-Stevens | December 15, 2010 at 12:50 AM
Like this idea lots, since I don't live close, and God know I have more than enough stuff, along with having a couple spinners around, my interest would probably be with the monthly download, loving the idea of having a theme each time too.
Posted by: Michelle | December 15, 2010 at 01:13 AM
I would love the downloadable instructions. Since I am in Switzerland, that makes the most sense. And I have plenty of stash to play with. ;)
Posted by: Cindy Strickland | December 15, 2010 at 02:35 AM
I love the idea of the downloadable instructions.
Posted by: Emy | December 15, 2010 at 04:03 AM
I follow your work and have always wanted to make some ATC. I don't have much stash (is that an oxymoron?) so would love a kit. Designed by you!! Yipee!! a spinner also
Posted by: rene Jantzi | December 15, 2010 at 06:58 AM
I would love to join!!! Please add me in. I want a kit.
Posted by: Becky H | December 15, 2010 at 11:56 AM
I'm in for the kits Donna, I have an ATC spinner that has gone to the scrapbook garage sale pile several times but I don't have the heart to get rid of it because I do love it but I haven't done anything with it in 3+ years. I'm in for the kit because I'm a visual person so if I don't own that particular product I'm not going to be a happy PuertoRican. You could also batch up the supplies and do a quarter shipping so the shipping won't be as much but that means you have to start cracking out those ATC's. I'm ready please put me on the wait list because if I miss out on the kit I'll be so upset... Merry Christmas...

I really like the option to just download the pdf instructions. I am always looking for new things to do with small pieces of my fave papers.
Posted by: JennL | December 15, 2010 at 01:00 PM
I'd be up for a download sheet (I live in Luxembourg).
Posted by: basement gal | December 15, 2010 at 02:19 PM
I'd buy the kits if the shipping cost is not too bad. Otherwise, I'm totally interested in the online instructions. Already have a spinner. Thanks, Donna.
Posted by: Loni | December 15, 2010 at 06:54 PM
Are you kidding??? Donna of course we want to do this... make, make and make tonnes of kits. I'd love the online version - being International and shipping - this would work out well for us... plus I have a tonne of scrappy goodness I could be using!!
Thanks for all that you do for us creative souls!
take care - have a beautiful day filled with creativity & inspiration
Posted by: Darlene Carroll | December 15, 2010 at 07:57 PM

Posted by: Christi Parker | December 15, 2010 at 08:17 PM
I would love to purchase a kit or a download. I do have PLENTY of products that I should use of my own but you know how that goes :-)

Great idea Donna-- I'm in and I know my close friend, as well as my daughter will be in. Looking forward to this. I have several spinners already in use, and an empty one waiting---aha! JUST FOR THIS!
Posted by: Holly Moon | December 16, 2010 at 07:07 PM
Yes, very interested. Although I have so much "stash" I will probably buy the instructions most months.
Posted by: Colleen | December 18, 2010 at 11:38 AM
I'm way late reading my email, but I'd be interested in the "online" version of this club.

Posted by: Hazel | December 24, 2010 at 12:50 AM
What an awesome idea Donna. I am definately not local, have plenty of scrap crap to use, but would possibly be interested in the download instructions so I can follow (play) along!!!!! I don't have a spinner, yet!!! I have to fit it into the budget and all, but count me in. Thanks
Posted by: LindaMR | December 26, 2010 at 11:31 PM
I wish I was local - I would love to join you in person. I guess the next best thing would be the downloads. I'm anxious to hear more details.
