remember the camera bag gone wrong?
well last night i decided to revisit her. a bit of gesso (ok a lot of gesso and it was still bleeding pink), a bit of shimmerz (red-y or not) and some quinacridone crimson and this is where we stand. at least i am liking it a little better. she is not done, but she is a bit more pleasant on the eyes.
over the weekend i was planning on scrapbooking...real paper pages! i got my supplies out, some photos and remembered that eclipse had come out on itunes and figured i would watch it on my computer while i worked...well i got "sucked" in (punn intended) and this is all i got done.
i'm pretty sure they will sit like this for a while because today i woke up and wanted to make a ruffley messenger bag using these fabrics. so this is what i will work on today!
thats it for today from inside the studio...
we've been getting a lot of your orders for the fun new stuff in the shop and they will be going out today!! we only have about 12 of the $5 grab bag kits left so you better grab 'em fast for stocking stuffers because thats the last of them for 2010!
have a happy tuesday, see ya tomorrow for inspiration wednesday!
Can't wait to see the bag !!!

donna - on the heart layout - how did you make the heart? Did you draw/paint it or is it some kind of iron on? I love that layout. Can't wait to see all of them completed (pressure is on :-))! Thanks for the inspiration!

How about collaging fabric pieces right onto the camera bag, then you won't have to worry about seeing pink! Love the scrapbook pages Donna.

I was going to ask about how you made the heart too...excited to see the new product!!! I love how it looks on the page and I love the idea of a ruffled messenger bag. I've had my own "happy bag" fabric cut for ages but I haven't gotten around to actually sewing it. Maybe that will be my reward when I finish all my handmade Christmas gifts!
