AWESOME!! DONNA I LOVE YOUR BIRDCAGE PAGE!! I really like the way you did the birdcage and that back ground was SO fun!! I really liked the layers that you did to add the depth and I hope that someday I can actually see your journal in
REAL LIFE!! I know we who watch every week get to see it, but I don't think that it is the same as seeing it in real life!! Anyway, I had fun watching this and I can't wait to see more!!
P.S. I know that you had said that you would try to use some of that molding clay that you had sent in some of your grab bags and I was wondering if you were still going to do that for those of us who have NO IDEA what to do with it?? Just a QUESTION!!??
THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU DO!! THAT PRIZE GIVEAWAY with Teresa Collins WAS SUPER COOL, YOU A SO GENEROUS!!
HAVE A FABULOUS DAY and your mojo will kick in!! =)

I really like it when you write on your page with the nib pen. I recently bought one because I liked it so much, but all the ink comes out in blobs....is that normal? Does it just take practice? Thanks for your help with this. Love all that you do! Watching you make the birdcage was great! I do get so inspired by watching what you do!

As always, love inspiration Wednesday! Huge round of applause for the bird cage. My question for today, "Is Donna Downey cursing a blue streak making her wire bird cage causing her to have to play music in place of her foul language filled voice?" And, what song would that have been playing to block my delicate ears?

This is by far one of my favorite I.W. EVER! I ♥ it! I have one question for you though...what do you do with the rest of date tags you rip? :D Do you ever put them to use? They might make a nice "quilt" background or makeshift bricks. :D Just wanted to know if they get used to....

Donna, I want you to know how much I appreciate and look forward to your Inspiration Wednesday posts. I have always been artistic, but focused in recent years on scrapbooking. You have inspired me to get out the art supplies (maybe buy a few new ones too!) and experiment and explore my creative side with lots of different media. Thank you for helping me break out of the fear and have fun!

Hi Donna,
Wanted to share my version of the birdcage page:
http://artsyellen.blogspot.com/2010/12/every-bird.html
Had lots of fun making it. Kids asking if it was a Donna thing, and so on. Hugo even asking if you made it as a gift to Bill. Impressive how that little one remembers you two.
Keep on inspiring us!
Ellen
