hey donna! love your vlogs! today I am nursing my chin, arm, knee....I tripped over a sign leg yesterday and landed on my face. it was brilliant! I hate woosy falls! I really made it spectacular and I have the bruises to prove it. seriously it hurts like hell, but I have a nice yellow/purple hue on my chin and those might be the colors I will work with today in the studio. bruise art! woo! happy day to you! xoxo ciao!

Aren't you glad you are so busy? I'm putting together my son's Senior H.S. year album...and it is going to take a lonnnngggg time...maybe I'll have it finished this summer and he will then be a Sophomore in college. LOL!

At home sick today...gonna get some rest and maybe if I feel better later on, i will be creative as well. It was so good to meet you and Bill at CHA last week. Hugs!

(Sorry to hear about your tumble yesterday Nadia! Bruise art...lol)
Hi Donna...I'm painting some altered magazine layouts today, and then pulling out some felt. Not sure what I'm making with the felt, but I'm in a felt mood and have a stack of it staring at me so I'll get creative and see what I come up with. I'm happy to hide up in the studio while new windows are being installed. Eleven days of window installation...ugh! I'll be singing when I have all new molding and crystal clear glass, though. Today is a play day and finishes with dinner out, then stamp club. So glad you're enjoying the watercolor class and can't wait to see your painting. Enjoy the day. xo

Hey there... from "Sunny California"
Donna you are soooo spunky, I love it!! :]
I've posted on my blog, anyone wishes to be my Valentine?
So, I'm busy gathering up creative envelopes... headed to the post office.
Also, with the nice weather here, I wanted to paint up this drawer I have in my art studio.
It's just too plain! Painting bold & bright colors with a lot of patterns.
My husband gets a big kick out of me, tells me... "you just can't have a plain piece of wood furniture?!" Smiles... and walks away, yes he is a smart man! lol

I am off to Micro-biology and Ethics this morning and calculus this afternoon....no creating for me, just lots of studying!
Posted by: Shawna | February 08, 2011 at 12:31 PM
I am doing laundry and working on Valentine projects for my daughter's class. I have a workshop later tonight that I am co-teaching online at 11pm EST with a friend who is in MST..Hopefully I can stay awake that long!! LOL
Here is a LO I did on Sunday with your 12x12 canvas and paint!! http://paperscissorscreate.blogspot.com/2011/02/super-bowl-sunday-challenge_06.html

Sitting here at work on my computer going over your past inspiration Wednesday videos. I mean working....yes, I am working.... LOL. Also, I am so excited to know that I was one of those who ordered the ATC kit IMMEDIATELY!!!! Can't wait to get it!!!
Posted by: Raquel LeBlanc | February 08, 2011 at 12:39 PM
You are so fun! Congrats on your ATC kits selling so quickly! And i like your hair straight. Looks great! Have fun at your watercolor class. Sounds wonderful. I'm planning to sit down and do some art tomorrow. Today, I homeschooled my kids. My youngest and I are off to see a dogsled team and learn about them for our field trip today. Then later, I'm taking my daughter to a birthday party, and I'll shop for some unmentionables for myself while I wait for her party to get done. So, a full day, but good.
Hope yours is great! Looking forward to Inspiration Wednesday.

I am cleaning my bedroom, and craft room today. I have 9 ladies coming to my house to hangout Saturday and do a little project. They are all members of my art group (we do atc, lfb, and various other altered projects). I'm pretty excited to see them, but the cleaning for it is killing me.
Posted by: ginger | February 08, 2011 at 12:49 PM
Hi Donna! Love hearing about your life! I'm doing the same thing as Raquel LeBlanc above...sitting in my cube at work doing my "work"...aka watching old Inspiration Wednesday videos and daydreaming about art projects!!! Sorry I missed the ATC kit, it was sold out when I went to buy it...but I got the download and will definitely try to get March's kit...the cards look awesome so far. Thanks for all the inspiration! You're the best!!!

OK, here is what I am doing today. I am washing my bed sheets, cleaning the furniture in the house 6 bedrooms plus living, dining and family room. Not to mention the scraproom which takes me atleast 1 hour to clean. I am also sweeping and just doing random stuff in the scraproom. Finally finished in between all of this chaos I am having the layout I started last week on friday night. LOL.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for the inspiration you bring us daily.

I love your random blathering vlogs!!!! (LOL) Always have! Anyway, not to much going on here. Stayed in bed trying to get my back to quit hurting so I could get up. Now Im off to the surgeon to see if I have to have surgery on my throat. Aren't you glad your not me? Friday is my creative day, going to my favorite scrapbook store... and spend the day with friends, chilling, creating, drinking Starbucks and having a no stress day. But for today....nothing...

I am patiently waiting for my brand new studio to be finished! My husband is rigging up some cabinets from Ikea and we are buying them slowly so as to spread out the cost since I am not a fabulously famous artist. Wishful thinking...hmmmmmm, I guess that's the beginning of the journey. Right!?
Posted by: Debbie Rosenkranz | February 08, 2011 at 02:58 PM
Just working in my lonely little cube, surfing my favorite blogs...I'd rather be back in NC helping you with your ATC kits. I'm waiting for your class in 2 weeks at Scrapbook Territory in Berkeley. My sis-in-law are making aprons this weekend, so we don't get all our clothes too messy. Enjoyed meeting you last week at CHA and I want some of those Faber-Castel...did you call them gelatos??? those little 4 inch crayon type thingies with all that fabulous color! Wow, what inspiration. Enjoy your painting class and be good!

I taught 2-5 graders at a school, then I picked up my two girls from their running clubs, I'm about to make dinner and I'm hoping to craft/create tonight-my goal is to craft or create each day in February-even if it's a row of knitting a "potato chip scarf" or reading/jotting ideas about project life! :) Thanks for the colorful inspiration you always share! :)

Today I was too sick to go to work, but not to sick to work on Valentine cards for a while. And surf blogs. Enjoyed your vlog today. Just want to thank you for sharing your ATC's. No one in this area makes them. I enjoyed making your first set, creating a few of my own (love looking at them on the spinner), and looking forward to the arrival of your new set.

Spending the day washing laundry and then cleaning up the craft room so I can actually see my table and then maybe I can make something. Love listening to your random blathering. Always cheers me up. Wish you would ramble on a whole lot more. Listening to you is more fun than laundry. Have a great day.

Worked 7-3, came home, got gas. Now grading my online class and being sad that I am not going to be attending the ATC class tonight.
Am instead babysitting the child.
Good times, but not as creative as I would like to be!

"Bruise art!" Brilliant way to brighten a day! Awesome!
Posted by: Cynthia | February 08, 2011 at 08:44 PM
An unusual day for me, but it is the beginning of what I hope to be a creative binge! I drove all day to bring my two youngest girls to the mountains where they will stay for a whole week with grandparents! My two older girls are on a 5-week mission trip (with the other grandparents) in the Philippines. This means all four girls are out of the house (where we homeschool year-round), and I get my husband (and my craft room, hee hee) ALL TO MYSELF FOR A WEEK! I'm simply giddy!
Oh, and Donna, I love your random vlogs!
Posted by: Cynthia | February 08, 2011 at 08:54 PM
Love your blog! Sorry I missed the Feb. cards!
Posted by: Colleen | February 08, 2011 at 09:16 PM
Well, after I worked all day, I went out to eat with a friend that I hadn't seen since December - it was great getting together with her. Then I came home to WAY COOL mail - my prize package from Nicole Lombardo - OMYGosh! This is the coolest thing ever - thanks for hosting the giveaway. Now I'm reading my blog feed and addressing the valentine's day cards I made over the weekend! Love your hair color and cut!

Home after work and husbands high school girls b ball game. I teach in Arkansas and the crazy winter weather has us out again tomorrow. This will make 5 days this year...UGH. We will be in school this summer forever. Stupid make up days. On the positive side the kids are still up, hoping this will cause them to sleep in in the morning and we are going sledding tomorrow once all the snow gets here.
Posted by: Olivia | February 08, 2011 at 11:33 PM
Well here in NEBRASKA we are having a huge winter storm!! So all area schools are closed and probably will be for the next 2 or 3 days depending on the storm!! Yeah, so it looks like I'll be busy keeping the kidos busy without distroying the house!! THANKS for the fun videos and I can't wait for the inspiration wednesday video!! =) I also can't wait to see what you have to show us next!! Have a FABULOUS DAY!! =)
Posted by: Larissa Heskett | February 08, 2011 at 11:50 PM
I, like you, would really like to be creative today but I have emails, newsletters and plans to make for a couple of fun events including a store visit by one very spunky artist from NC. Can't imagine who that can be *wink* hehe. Have a fabulous day -- loving that you're taking a wc class - I'd so join you if I could.

Bad weather day here in North Texas, so home with my son...just got a load of dishes out of the way and now back to working on my shopping wishlist for my tax refund check I expect in the next week....HAPPY!! Hoping to unpack a bin of craft goodies and start on decorating up an old rolodex I picked up from ebay with my scrapbooking supplies. Oh, and watching cooking shows...but that's making me hungry lol. I envy that you get to be exponentially busy doing what you love! I wish I could pick up and move there and be your assistant...I'd LOVE to be kicking out some club kits with you!!
Posted by: Mama Shopping Bear | February 09, 2011 at 01:21 PM
At work, in the office- not exactly fun.
You mentioned in your post, about not having the 'manpower' to handle more kitting projects right now...ever thought of hiring a blog reader to work for you? Hint, hint. Someone who may be in another state, but could do all your kitting & mailing from a different location? Like outsourcing, only not to India, but maybe to say, Texas? Would be the PERFECT gig for someone (like me), who is about to quit her day job to stay home with the new baby coming in 7 weeks. Just a thought. :)
Posted by: Kelley Hartnett | February 09, 2011 at 01:22 PM
working on journal pages. Some backgrounds, adding some layers and just playing in general. Thanks for all the inspirations.

So 50 comments ahead of mine. We your loyal followers definitely need to step it up in the comments sections. Looking forward to inspiration Wednesday as always. Need to figure out what I am going to do for a March class at my LSS. Have the idea mostly gel, now just need to execute it. Letting puppies in and out, in and out, in and out... It is sunny here but really cold -- at 20˚but windchill in low teens or single digits. They see sun and think play outside. But they are little so I think frozen pupcicles! Soon I will give babysitter, large chew toy that takes hours for them to get through, and go upstairs to work on LSS project and another I've got going. Looking forward to the rest of Inspired info to get posted for sign-ups. I remember how fast time went once sign up happened. Have a great day and enjoy your water color class. I am taking a weekly collage on canvas class -- loving it!
