Lovely, just lovely, you sure know how to combine colours Donna, I'm not a purple girl either but I love it. That technique with the ribbon lends itself to sooo many other options. Can't wait to try it.

Totally love the color combo! You amaze me with your freehand writing. That would send me over the edge to just go for it on something so gorgeous... guess I just need to jump in and do it huh? I love these colors together! I normally am not a purple fan either but I have noticed that adding just a little bit really does something for blues and greens. The ribbon and beads is ... just gorgeous! I need to try something like this ...

The concept of layering finally clicked with me today! 2 dimensional vs. layering makes a huge difference! If you were looking at me right now, you'd see that the lightbulb above my head is turned on . . . thank you for your explanation.
