I am in love with this color scheme!! And I promptly tried the image transfer technique with Claudine Hellmuth Sticky Back Canvas and her Multi Medium, but used an ink jet image. Some parts of the image rubbed off, even with the slightest pressure, but I actually love the way it makes it look even more distressed!! Thank you for the inspiration!

Love all the layering! Really trying to embrace the idea that just because I love what's on the page doesn't mean another layer or wash is going to ruin it. Thanks for all the examples.

I love your inspiration Wednesdays, they DO inspire!!!
Posted by: Sheila B | March 16, 2011 at 01:33 PM
I like the fixative idea...how would you have used that exactly? I do like this layering technique and knowing when to walk away is a key idea...hard to learn I think. And the point about needing more stamp pressure for the canvas weave is also so important. And I'm wondering if adding more gel medium for the stamping section would be a good idea? or maybe not so important. I really like the column/brick page. The cluster of beads on the ribbon ruffle is really interesting. Thank you so much!
