I hate to say anything but the word Finished is missing it's H. :P Loved this vid. It really pays off to stick with a project even if you’re not in love with it right from the beginning.

oh man....and you managed to spell finished wrong too!!! bahahha Happy Wednesday!!

Oooh you are doing the Sketchbook Project 2012 ? I will happily check your book when the tour will come in Vancouver. I am waiting for my sketchbook to arrive.
Sometimes, your head is not in it but by pushing a bit, the result is amazing.

Not in this lifetime would I have seen the spelling mistake, I'm aka--- the worst speller, but as I say "I have other gifts".
; )I loved the video and seeing the PanPastel in use. Looking into the 101 class and using the set I bought at the Puerto Rico Scrapobook Events. It was GREAT seeing you again and I was very Honored to have been picked by you for the Layout portion of the Iron Edition. Too Much Fun, for sure!!! Hope to see you soon, maybe @ SPARK No.3 in the fall!

Curious where it might have gone if Leo's words has not been the fate for this page because I love picket fences (and lattice too) in anything. Overall, it looks great and truly love to see "mistakes" become lovable.

Love the realness and honesty. It is inspiring to know even Donna Downey has 'not so creative moments'. Thanks for sharing.

I love how you embraced this. I think the creative process is all about trial and error, and I totally love that you embrace that with grace and show us your not so perfect art as well as the perfect!

Laughing at the spelling. I missed it too oh well.
As for the resist using Tar Gel, it intrigued me so I took a piece of watercolor paper and stamped on it with Tar Gel, let it dry over night and this morning went over with my Pan Pastels. Little shriek of Happiness I tell you. It works PERFECT on pieces with less texture. So totally cool!

I loved all the techniques you used on these pages. I loved the way they looked. Very useful for me. You may have had an off day but you gave me a whole lot processes to use to get to my 'happy place'. Thank you.

Donna, if you think that this is not inspirational, you're totally wrong. Don't you know how awesome it is for us mortals to see someone who makes such amazing art make something she doesn't like? It shows us that it's OK not to be perfect, not to be good, to have an "off" day. Nothing is more inspirational than that.

I look at your inspiration Wednesdays in the middle of the night as I am insomniac. They are perfect. I could look at any manner of YouTube vids but I love your continuing process and your humor and personality. They liven up my day. Have a great trip with your awesome kids and don't ever feel pressure to make the 'perfect page', because you would never create what you do if you kept thinking inside the box. You are entertaining, smart and always joyful Donna.
