maybe it's because they make so many options for shoes without ties,
or maybe its that i got lazy and because he is the 3rd of 3 and has 2 sisters a mom and a dad to help him we just never made it a priority.
but finally after 2 days of practice, my little guy can now tie his shoes.
he's so proud.
maybe secretly i dont want him to grow up!
it goes so fast...
Sometimes I think Velcro was one of the worst inventions :) Good for your boy! Kudos!

It's all those things. A lot of my 3rd graders still struggle with tying their shoes and I think it's because they've been use to Velcro for all their preschool and lower school years. Can you blame them? :)

Way to go!! Who cares, so he didn't tie his shoes...there is worse things in life! Look at the bright side...He's not 30 and first learning! I don't want mine to grow up either but he does every day right in front of me!
