studio damage update:
as many of you know from reading my facebook posts, my home studio took a bit of a hit from the heavy rains that came through over the weekend...believe it or not we are still waiting for the insurance adjuster to come out, but thanks to the speedy work of the guys that dried out the the room. i am fully dysfunctional!
here's some of the pics
what i saw when i got home. (thats water streaming out of the opening)
20 minutes later the ceiling was off!
the aftermath...
I WANT the Gelatos...can't find anyone that has them here in Canada...some places won't even ship them here :(

Gorgeous pages! I love the combination of that muted background with the bright pops of colors in those flowers. Thanks for sharing such fabulous inspiration! Bummer to hear about your water damage! Hope nothing was ruined and it can be fixed soon.

Love it! My 4 year old watched with me and was giggling with happiness when you stamped your flowers. She thought they looked like Mickey mouse.

I'm so sorry...your beautiful studio! I too have had this wonderful experience and years later, I still do not have everything out of boxes...we had to move out of the space to repair flooring. Take care. Patience is the key.

Oh, I hate about your studio and the water damage. That had to have been like almost total devestation, I know that is how I would have felt if it had been my studio, work room, whatever we may call our inspiration, working room. Love, love these stamps and all that wonderful color. I must, must order at least two or three of these gelatos to try out!

I am so sorry about the damage to your studio. Hug.
I would have loved to use the gelatos. Unfortunately, there are a lot of products that are available in United States but not in Canada. The gelatos are a perfect example, and they just look so yummy and beautiful. No wonder you went to your happy place. The flowers are beautiful! Karen :)

I wonder if you have any idea of the powerful POSITIVE impact you have on me (and others, I am sure). Despite having your life and studio disrupted, you are so HAPPY and it just flows into the world ... you go girl!

Your Inspiration Wed. was AWESOME!!! Loved the flower stamps and the gelatos- will have to find them!!! I feel your "pain" on the water damage. I was gone for two weeks, came home walking in water, my craft room ceiling was on the floor. Lots of damage, out of my room for 3 weeks but what a "WOW" room I got afterwards. There is always a silver lining if you just look for it !!!! Thanks for all your inpiration.

Wow! Fabulous pages - love the color scheme and the soft watercolor look to the whole thing. Beautiful! It pained me to see your gorgeous wall poppies cut into.... Yikes! That rain was certainly crazy last weekend. Thanks for letting me spend it in your Studios - I had an AMAZING time!!!!

Your studio looks great. You have a colorful studio. I like the wallpaper that you put on. It seems like that you have a peaceful place but it sad that the water damage came out. Looks like that you are renovating your studio.
