The name Single Stone was born out of the David and Goliath story, as was their life motto, "Throw Your Stone" and call themselves "Stone Thrower". For them "throwing stone" is all about conquering the giants in life. As a couple, the two threw a stone in faith that this business would be just what they needed to make a fresh start. And it was. After just 3 months Shelley quit her part time job and pursued the business full time with Billy. After 6 mos., they moved to a larger home to accommodate the growing business. And now, nearly 4 years later, the two are still throwing stones and enjoy growing their business and family together.

Shelley Howard, is the artist behind Single Stone Studios, S3 for short, and blogs about vinyl wall decals, art and home decor on the company blog. Billy is the business guy who keeps things running smoothly. Their favorite thing about decals is making them BIG! They love being able to create murals and really large scale art projects. With an eclectic sense of style and a passion for artful living S3 has quite a collection of designs to turn your space into an artful environment.

Shelley is also a mixed media artist and brought her mixed media style to her decals.

She also uses her decal designs in her mixed media art.
