you know i have been loving me some tape lately and this one of course does not go without it. the background tape with the holes is this cool joint tape i found in the hardware store (lowes).
i distressed the edges, added a february flash card, 7gypsies gaffer tape and a die cut piece of lattice on top.
i made drippage black india ink circle and when the ink dried i adhered a torn bit of booktext inside and finished it with crimson india ink
i could help but drop some more red ink drops on the other side too!
this week make circles...make them drip, tear them, pinch them out of papers and make a fun collage of your own!
Love the colors, the textures, the tapes and even the ink! LOL

This is just gorgeous, so simple and yet just totally complete :)
Thank you Donna for all you do! I just recently discovered you a few weeks ago, and you have truly inspired me to heal myself from some very troubling times in my life thru creative expression. I'm still only beginning and have much to learn, but thank you for being the source of the process. :)

I have to say I also love the look of the joint tape. At first I thought it was a stamp or printed paper. Even cooler that it is a textured tape.

Donna, I've been seeing this spread on many pinboards and I've been nodding along, saying yes yes yes. Had to click through to add my compliments. Very handsome. Love the colors and the subtle textures. Yum!
