you know all those ideas you pin on pinterest that you are going to do one day and forget about...?
well i pinned this idea for monogrammed mugs and busted out the neon and black sharpies and the kids and i had a blast!
we picked up some plain white mugs from target and dug out the stash of alphabet letters i have hoarded
once you stick them securely to the mug start making dots around the stickers using a sharpie/s.
the kids went ga ga over the neon sharpies
then bake in the oven on 350 for about 30 minutes. totally fuses the shaprie dots the the mug and makes them washable.
one pin down only a few more thousand pinned ideas to go!
Very cute idea.. I love all of them, but I like the contrast of the black and white.. Beautiful...

What a great idea! Can these go in the dishwasher and the microwave after you bake the sharpie on?

Great idea - but don't know if I can buy Sharpies in Germany, so do you think I can use Edding too?

You are the only person I know that said this was successful. I even tried it and the sharpies still smeared.... did twice with different lengths of time in the oven! What IS your secret?

I tried it too. I handwashed the mug twice and on the second time the sharpie started coming straight off. Any other tips??
