I die cut the butterflies from a Sizzix dies, it is one from Tim Holtz line called Butterfly Frenzy . Also I used a cotton canvas and I used hot glue gun to glue it to the composition! I could have use paper instead, but I think that the canvas gives it more lightness!

What a beautiful project! So many creative elements,such as the repurpose of an old canvas, stenciling the sides with modeling paste, the layered coloring of the butterflies. It was a delight to watch your process. My one question is what did you use to adhere the wire swinger?

I used hot glue gun to adhere the wire swinger! The wire I used is really light so hot glue gun did the job! Otherwise I would have used E6000!

I LOVE this project. It is very different from most mixed media pieces because it is 3D, has lots of variety in materials, and it moves! Keep them coming!
