Hellllloooo mixed media fans! Thanks for joining on my second post today. I’d like to share with you an art journal spread utilizing some of my favorite techniques. Keep an eye out through the video… the under paper on this project turns out SO fun… I’ll be utilizing it next week in my post.
The project itself is plenty fun to make but after I was done having fun it occurred to me that this piece of art would make a great journal cover and or it could be fabulous trimmed up into ATCs, postcards or tags. Not that I think everything has to have a SPECIFIC purpose… Art is ART… but I’m really happy how this particular spread turned out and I’m brainstorming ways to get to look at it more often :). My drip tip, because I am a bit funny about them too is to wet the page where you want them to go. Draw the line with a wet brush. Love this page. I love the white space too.

I love your page. The color and simplicity of the design is beautiful. Sometimes there is just too much stuff on a page. This one is just lovely in its simple open apaces.
