Hi there, this is Stephanie with a shorter tutorial about a special Tip and Technique „wax effect on a sketched portrait without encaustic“.
I want to show you a possibility to add a wax effect to your paintings, drawings and projects, without using encaustic wax.
You can create this effect with the Ink Brush Pens from Pentel (you can purchase from Donna Downey Shop) and the Girlie Grunge Art Medium (a decoupage adhesive). Maybe you can also create this effect with Gel Medium, give us a information if so. We would be glad if you try it.  
I will build on it and show more about this little technique in the next two videos, where we will start layering and adding paint, so stay tuned.
