I’m Zoey and here is another project I made for the Artist Gang video! I am altering a panel again but this time you can all laugh at my silly accent! As always - the video is speed up - if you want to watch it slowly just click on the gear icon and set the speed lower. If you have any question make sure to leave a comment, I will be happy to answer to all your questions!
Hiya folks – DeeDee here today! I know a few of you have been waiting for the finale of my triptych series and I’m super stoked to share it with you! I LOVE how the series turned out. It was definitely a journey and by spreading out the canvasses I was pleasantly surprised by the route that each piece took. I think the journey would have been completely different if I had done them all a lot closer together. Pop on down and check out the video – please let me know what you think and never hesitate to ask questions. I try really hard to follow up with comments both on the blog and the youtube channel. ♥♥♥
Today I have something special for you! I prepared a mixed media journal’s cover with embossed background, it’s a bit grunge and vintage and a bit romantic – it’s the real mixed media piece and the mix of styles! This „grunge” vintage look was created by using some tricks you can find on the video I prepared for you. The most important trick was creating the embossed 3D pattern with this kind of weathered surface and the second important trick was using mists & pencils to create shadows around my composition. This gave me this vintage & grunge look on my journal’s cover. Hope you liked both, my video and the project I made especially for you!

Hiya folks – DeeDee here today! I know a few of you have been waiting for the second panel of my triptych series and that’s exactly what I’m here to show you today. I’m loving working in a small series and I can’t wait to have these finished and hanging.
Today I would like to show you my art journal spread with poppies and flourishes. I used four stencils! Some of them were used to create background, some of them I used to create colorful accents (letters in light and dark pink) and poppies and flourishes were used to create the elements of the meadow on my pages. I used some embossing powders & texture paste to create interesting texture. I love to use Donna Downey’s stamps just to add some letter accents on my pages, but the sentence about strength is the keynote of my spread.
